Job Description
• Conduct tests to determine corrosion resistance, strength and stability of material with respect to stress and temperature variations
• Identify surface defects that may affect or prevent corrosion • Determine where corrosion can occur and how it will spread
• Using ultrasonic testing to measure the thickness of metal/material surfaces • Identify hidden flaws, such as cracks and metal fatigue, using a magnifying glass or other devices
• Using X-rays on internal components • Identifying evidence of separation in an object's layers
• Testing for defects in metal parts such as welds and joints that may weaken the part or cause fatigue damage
Qualifications:
A minimum of 3 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Others or similar fields.
Male applicants are preferred for this role.
ASNT Level 2 in UT/PT/MT/RT . Computer Skill - MS Office
