MOTORPOOL ENGINEERING HEAD
Overview:
The Motorpool Engineering Head oversees the overall operations, maintenance, and reliability of company vehicles and equipment while ensuring efficient support for organizational and project needs. The role is responsible for supervising motorpool-related projects, tracking progress, and ensuring timely completion of maintenance and repair activities. This position also leads the motorpool team in optimizing performance, safety, and cost efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Supervise daily motorpool operations, including vehicle dispatch, maintenance, and repairs.
Plan, oversee, and monitor motorpool projects and work progress, ensuring timelines and standards are met.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
Ensure vehicles and equipment comply with safety and regulatory standards.
Lead, train, and evaluate mechanics and motorpool staff.
Monitor maintenance schedules, repair costs, fuel usage, and spare parts inventory.
Coordinate with other departments regarding vehicle requirements and operational support.
Prepare reports on vehicle performance, project status, incidents, and maintenance activities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Automotive, or related field).
At least 4-5 years of relevant experience in motorpool management, fleet maintenance, or equipment supervision.
Strong knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and safety practices.
Experience in project supervision, progress monitoring, and operational planning.
Proven leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
