We’re looking for a Motion Graphics Artist to join our fantastic team! This is for a DAYSHIFT Australian account - Saturdays and Sundays off.
 
We are looking for a revolutionary Motion Graphics Artist to deliver life-like creative and spectacular animations on a full-time basis. Someone who’s looking for an exciting opportunity to apply their digital video production skills in animation production would be a perfect fit for the role.
 
Responsibilities:
• Design and create enticing motion graphics for video deliverables
• Create 2D/ 3D animated maps
• Create animated text overlays and effects
• Create animated motion graphics
• Prepare Illustrator files for the use in Motion Graphics production
• Key custom filmed green screen characters
• Assist with the management of the green screen library
• Learn how to composite green screen people into 3D rendered scenes
• Responsible for the on-time production and delivery of content for client’s projects
• Create and deliver motion graphics in various media including web, mobile, etc
• Research and analyze best design techniques and solutions to create motion graphics
• Assist in designing and creating storyboards
• Prepare design plan, concept and layout for motion graphic project
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to share new design perspectives and ideas
• Maintain and follow best practices for versioning control, naming convention and organization of graphic files
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge about the latest graphic design techniques
• Ensure compliance with company guidelines and design standards
Qualifications & Requirements:
• At least 3 years’ experience working in a creative production environment (preferably with a focus on the development of motion graphics for multi-display projects)
• Proven ability to communicate complex ideas through motion graphics
• Storyboarding and pre-visualization skills, as well as an ability to demonstrate concepts visually
• A passion for creative storytelling and concept development
• A team player and can work creatively as a part of the team as well as autonomously
• Always be looking to improve existing work
• Good English communication skills - oral and written
• High organizational skills - ability to set well-considered timelines and to meet the agreed deadlines
• Outstanding design sensibility
• Extensive knowledge of video formats and output
• Comprehensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Adobe After Effects)
• Experience in the following ARE HIGHLY PREFERRED
              - Working knowledge of 3D animation software or 3D Max or similar
              - Adobe Indesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe AfterFX
              - Adobe plugins (Video Copilot Element 3D, Trapcode, Plexus)
