Description
This position is responsible for providing sufficient support duties to ensure smooth delivery of technology services and assists others in the operation of computer hardware, software, and peripherals and network and information systems.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Performs configurations, set - up, installations, troubleshooting, repairs and maintenance of company-wide computer equipment and network facilities such as computer hardware and software, printers and other devices;
2. Provides technical assistance to employees on computer hardware, network systems, and other related equipment;
3. Performs software and hardware installations in support to company's operational and systems requirement and promotes technological advancement;
4. Performs and maintains company-wide telecommunications facilities such as telephones / fax, PABX System;
5. Establishes and maintains company-wide CCTV System;
6. Keeps and secures Management Information System equipment and devices;
7. Keeps records of Management Information System equipment and devices for monitoring purposes;
8. Handles the ordering and inventory of company-wide computers and equipment;
9. Ensures all anti - virus and security software is updated to all company-wide computers and devices;
10. Conducts periodic computer system preventive maintenance from time to time;
11. Conducts electrical safety checks on computer equipment and devices;
12. Attends inquiries, suggestions and complaints concerning Management Information Systems;
13. Performs record-keeping functions to all but not limited to Management Information Systems transactions;
14. Performs related tasks as may be assigned from time to time.
SECONDARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Performs Company Information System administration such as user account, e-mail account, other services, debugging and enhancements;
2. Creates, develops, and maintains graphic design and layouts such as company forms and other related services;
3. Develops and evaluates system software to address work simplification;
4. Provides system support for companywide accounting systems;
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
1. A graduate of computer science, computer engineering, information technology or any related courses;
2. Preferably with at least six (6) months' experience as a Management Information System Assistant in a corporate environment or equivalent professional practice;
3. Good decision making, problem solving, and analytical skills;
4. Proficient in written and communication skills;
5. Highly organized and has an eye for detail;
6. Self-motivated and hardworking;
7. Positive personal values and strong work ethic;
Accomplished at least one multifaceted system and or web application development project;
9. Knowledge of computer applications and operating system, data base and system administration, analysis and design, network technology and security, trouble shooting and repair procedures, hardware and software applications, back - up procedures;
10. Strict in implementing of rules, regulations, and policies.
