Description
Job Functions:
• Oversees the day-to-day operation of the MIS Department.
• Oversees the daily checking of existing operating systems and LAN to prevent possible downtime.
• Supervises the personnel under the MIS Department such as the Systems Analyst, Technical
Specialist, and the Social Media Specialist.
• Analyzes software projects and recommends improvement on the same.
• Spearheads development of new systems in coordination with the different departments of the
company.
• Ensures proper documentation of all software systems acquired or developed.
• Spearheads and conducts training of users on various operating systems and other MIS applications
programs.
• Ensures proper monitoring and documentation of all hardware purchased.
• Regularly reviews hardware set up and makes timely recommendation on the improvement of
hardware and its peripherals.
• Coordinates with the different departments regarding software/hardware requirements and requests for
assistance.
• Assist on the MIS needs of the company.
• Develops, coaches, and motivates MIS personnel on their day-to-day activities.
• Maintains a strong customer service orientation in dealing with various departments and Department
Heads.
• Performs such other duties that may be requested from time to time.
