OceanaGold are seeking a suitably qualified, experienced, and motivated Mine Surveyor (Surface and Underground) to manage the surveying mine functions for surface and underground operations and ensure site designs for both operations and projects are followed to required specifications and tolerances. Reporting to the Senior Surveyor, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and reliability of survey control points for both surface and underground.
This is a great opportunity to leverage your previous experience in mine surveying and to mentor and coach our highly engaged survey team and the dynamic Didipio workforce to achieve outstanding results and ongoing drive for continuous improvements.
About the role
Maintain and update survey database and files;
Performs prism and site defamation monitoring;
Carry out set-outs, pick-ups, and mark-ups as required for underground, open pit operations, stockpiles, waste dumps, infrastructures, and TSF development and operations;
Manage and maintain surface and underground mine control network, ensuring accuracy is within the required standard;
Supervise the surveying functions of surface and underground operations to ensure safe and efficient mining activities in a controlled manner;
Provision of detailed survey plans and as-builts, updates mine site layout drawings using Surpac, AutoCAD and Deswik;
Carry out detailed and accurate surveys for end-of-month volumes and reporting;
Perform calibration checks on total stations, checks on laser scanning equipment, and calibration checks on level and zeniths; and
Work with survey assistant to check and maintain the cleanliness of surveying equipment to ensure it is a good condition.
About you

License Geodetic Engineer;
5 years of experience in surveying;
Familiar with using GPS, Total Station Instrument, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Deswik,
Keen to surveying accuracy, details, and procedures;
Drive for continuous improvement and innovation;
Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills;
Can work under pressure and maintain professionalism; and
With valid Driver's license is more preferred.
