Roles and Responsibilities
The roles and responsibilities of the Mid QA Software Tester are to work independently and collaboratively with colleagues, clients, or partners; demonstrate excellent working knowledge of application being tested; execute test cases as per commitment; create and maintain test data for individual scenario.
The other tasks of the Mid QA Software Tester are to openly participate in continuous practice improvement; open defect tickets with clear, detailed explanations and instructions to reproduce; proactively self-manage own tasks in view of the larger QA effort as well as other required QA deliverable; report testing status and progress against the testing plan to the project team and Senior QA or Lead; test types include functional, integration, visual , sanity and regression.
Required Experience
- With at least 3 yrs EXP in QA Manual / Functional Testing
- Experience in creating Test Cases and Scenarios
- Experience in Mobile and Web Testing
- Experience in SIT, UAT, or Regression Testing
- Experience in using AGILE methodology
Minimum Qualifications
- BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field or equivalent industry experience
Experience Advantage
- Knowledge in Back-end Testing, and automation
- Knowledge in UI/UX Design Principles
