We are looking for a Mid-level Software Developer to work closely with the agile development team in Australia.
Our Australian based client is a multi-award-winning technology and agile software development company with a growing team in Cebu.
As a key member of the development team, your ability to solve problems whilst deploying well written code will be essential to yours, and the business future success. You will work closely with multiple stakeholder groups, with your core team being the development team.
An ideal candidate will have a bachelors degree in information technology with a minimum of 5 years of experience with computer applications.

This is a full-time, day-shift, office-based role in Cebu City.
Responsibilities
Creating, analyzing, and validating detailed functional specifications;
Facilitating design sessions with the implementation team to define the solution;
Contribute holistically to process improvement under the direction of the Technical Lead and Product Project Manager including Miro designs, schemas and process;
Input and design of the overall architecture of the web applications;
Maintaining quality and troubleshooting of product software and databases for optimal functionality and responsiveness of applications;
Support in the development lifecycle as required;
Collaborating with the rest of the engineering team in designing and launch of the new platform;
Identifying the current- and future-state business processes;
Helping the business stakeholders envision the future and how their work will need to change to support the future;
Delivering elements of systems design, including data migration rules, business rules, wireframes, or other detailed deliverables;
Consider information flow and data requirements to enable the functionalities within the system;
Consider business process and the business requirements and put forward suggestions to make the technology easier to use;
Management of team members directly involved during the project.
Requirements
Technical Requirements:
5-7+ years' experience developing and shipping web-based code;
Mid- Level PHP Developer- Focus on PHP frameworks - Laravel;
Experience in writing Front-end technologies- HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, JSON,AJAX, HTML/ CSS proficiency;
Modern web app development skills;
In-depth understanding of Git and Bitbucket;
Extremely proficient in MySQL knowledge and relational database development and design;
Secure coding best practices;
Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD);
Exposure to RESTful API's; and
Agile and Scrum methodologies.
