PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Responsible in ensuring sanitary manufacturing procedures and standards, product quality and food safety through microbiological analysis.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. With a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry/Biology/Food Technology or any related courses
2. Professional License is an advantage
3. With at least 2 years experience in the same field and capacity
DUTIES:
1. Determines Relative Light Unit/ Microbial Load
2. Prepares media for microbiological analyses
3. Swabs personnel and equipment
4. Verifies Equipment and Utensils Cleaning and Sanitation- Accupoint Swabbing
5. Performs conventional and/or rapid testing microbiological analyses of samples based on sampling plan
6. Conducts the following:
- Air Sampling
- Microbial Analysis in RM, PM, Personnel, Air, Utensils, Equipment, Water
- Hygienic Sampling Procedure of Water Samples for Microbial analysis, Liquid ingredients and Dry Ingredients
- Inventory of Glasswares, consumables and equipment
7. Prepares samples and documents for third party microbial analysis
8. Prepares and submits Laboratory Reports
Requirements
Minimum education level: Bachelor ́s Degree
1 year of experience
Language(s): English ,Tagalog
Knowledge: Accountability for mistakes and errors, Analysis, Learning, Research
