Job Overview:
The Micro Analyst is responsible for conducting microbiological testing and analysis on raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, water facility and environmental samples to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards. They play a critical role in identifying potential microbial contamination and ensuring the production process meets regulatory and organizational requirements.
Basic Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biology, Food Technology, Food Science, or a related field.
Experience: With or without work-related experience; Licensed Food Technologist or Licensed Microbiologist is an advantage.
Skills:
Knowledge of microbiological techniques and equipment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and reports.
Familiarity with food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, ISO 9001:2015, GMP).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Powerpoint).
Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
