Under the DHL Supply Chain umbrella, one of the business units of DHL, we provide customized logistics and industry solutions in the areas of supply chain management, warehousing, distribution, value added services, and lead logistics provider services for our customers - helping them deliver better results everyday.ResponsibilitiesOperating Reach Truck: Safely operate the reach truck to move, lift, and stack materials in warehouse or storage environments.Loading and Unloading: Load and unload goods from delivery trucks and storage locations, ensuring that products are handled carefully to prevent damage.Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by scanning barcodes and updating inventory management systems during the movement of goods.Replenishment and Putaway Organize and store products in designated areas, maximizing space efficiency and ensuring easy access for retrieval.Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following safe operating procedures.Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks and maintenance on the reach truck, such as checking battery status, and report any malfunctions or issues to supervisors.Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of operations, including the movement of goods, equipment usage, and any incidents that occur during operations.RequirementsEducation:
A high school diploma or equivalent is often preferred.
Certification:
A forklift or reach truck operator certification is usually required. This certification often includes both theoretical and practical training on safe operation.
Experience:
Previous experience operating a reach truck or similar equipment is often preferred, though some employers may provide on-the-job training.
Physical Requirements:
