Job Description
Interpreting blueprints and technical drawings to determine the layout, dimensions, and materials required. Cutting and shaping metal pieces using shears, plasma cutters, torches, and other metal-shaping tools.
Assembling and welding metal components to form structures such as beams, columns, and frames.
Inspecting fabricated components to ensure that they conform to specifications and are free from defects. Applying protective finishes to metal pieces such as paint or sealants to prevent rust and degradation.
Collaborating with engineering and manufacturing teams to troubleshoot issues and adjust fabrication methods as needed. Maintaining a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
No minimum educational attainment is required for this position.
Male applicants are preferred for this role.
At least 2 years experience in shaping and forming metals, technical skills, and problem -solving abilities.
