Job Description
Conduct researches and trials for studying the characteristics and properties of metals; operate the metals for producing alloys and new applications
Conduct researches and studies on metals and mineral alloys, such as steel, cast iron and non ferrous alloys, in terms of the identification of their physical properties, crystal structure;
Determine the amount of impurities or cracks, using microscope and X-ray devices.
Develop the processes of smelting, hot or cold forging, and thermal treatments for having the desired features, such as: Plasticity, ductility, hardness and elongation
Test the alloys in terms of tensions of stress, compression, embrittlement, plicae and collapse for studying the physical characteristics, and the extent of their appropriateness to forging or conformity with the specifications.
Develop the work methods and procedures; and keep up with the technical development
Prepare, present, clarify, and keep on the relevant database, the specialized documents and reports related to engineering projects and works, as well as their progress ratio, as per the adopted policies and procedures
Qualifications:
A minimum of 3 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Engineering(Metallurgical) or similar fields.
Male applicants are preferred for this role.
