Job Description
Pickup and Delivery: Collecting items from one location and delivering them to another, ensuring they arrive safely and on time.
Route Planning: Determining the most efficient routes for deliveries to save time and fuel.
Package Handling: Loading, transporting, and unloading packages carefully to prevent damage.
Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and delivery receipts.
Customer Interaction: Communicating with clients in a professional and courteous manner.
Vehicle Maintenance: Ensuring the delivery vehicle is in good condition, performing routine checks, and reporting any issues.
Problem-Solving: Addressing any issues that arise during deliveries, such as traffic delays or incorrect addresses.
Compliance: Following company policies and procedures, as well as traffic laws and regulations.
Reporting: Providing regular updates to supervisors about deliveries and any issues encountered.
Qualifications
Highschool Diploma/College level or graduate
Minimum of 3 years work experience in the related position
Driver's License 12/123
Clean Driving Record
Good Communication Skills
Familiarity with the local area and navigation skills can be beneficial.
