Get to know the Role We are looking for a Merchant Acquisition Specialist (GrabPay PH) to drive merchant acquisition and grow acceptance for GrabPay PH. This includes developing and managing a sales pipeline and executing sales strategies to acquire merchants that will exceed aggressive account acquisition and business volume goals. We believe a successful candidate has strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a good track record of sales performance and driving high business growth towards a common goal of empowering 1 in 2 everyday entrepreneurs in Southeast Asia and in the Philippines, in particular. The day-to-day activities Develops and manages a robust sales pipeline of potential merchants in GrabPay PH's targeted merchant segments, expanding the merchant base across various categories Manages end-to-end sales process including sales forecast, building sales pipeline, developing the sale, negotiating contract terms, and closing the deal, including articulating a compelling value proposition around Grab Financial Group's payment and financial products Drive merchant acquisition by identifying opportunities and, in coordination with the Consumer Growth, Country Marketing, and other cross-functional teams, implementing programs that will drive merchant preference for GrabPay onboarding. Work closely with customer support, finance and product to ideate and solve operational issues for merchant acquisition Manage operation cost, delivery of marketing collateral, and ad-hoc projects for merchant acquisition, together with the GrabPay PH Consumer and Country Marketing teams The must have Bachelor's degree (min. requirement) Experience: Minimum of 1 to 3 years working experience in sales and business development, preferably in financial services / fintech firms or telecommunications Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of the payments, merchant, and retail business Strong communication, presentation, and management skills with a high level of integrity and understanding of professionalism and code of conduct Able to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment, working with cross-functional teams, and to meet critical deadlines, while multi-tasking and being results focused
