The Merchandiser is responsible for coordinating and monitoring merchandising activities for garments, caps, and fashion accessories from sampling to shipment. This role ensures buyer requirements are met in terms of quality, cost, and delivery, while coordinating closely with production and support teams in an export manufacturing environment.
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Handle merchandising activities including product development, sampling, costing, order confirmation, and production follow-up.
Coordinate with buyers, suppliers, and internal departments regarding specifications, timelines, and order status.
Prepare and update cost sheets, BOMs, and order tracking reports.
Follow up production schedules to ensure on-time delivery.
Ensure products comply with approved samples, tech packs, and buyer requirements.
Assist in resolving issues related to materials, quality, and delivery timelines.
Prepare and maintain merchandising documents such as POs, packing details, and shipment requirements.
Support Senior Merchandisers and Managers in daily merchandising tasks.
Ensure compliance with company policies, buyer standards, and export requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Business or related courses.
At least 1-2 years of experience as a Merchandiser in garments, caps, or export manufacturing.
Basic knowledge of fabrics, trims, printing, embroidery, and washing processes.
Experience coordinating with production, QA, and logistics.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Proficient in MS Excel and MS Office
