Salary Range: 19,000-21,000 per month

General Description: The Medical Transcriptionist is responsible for interpreting medical terminologies and abbreviations. They review, convert, and edit the medical documents as requested by the client/physicians. They should provide accurate transcriptions of audio files from the client.
Location: 8th floor Skyrise 4B Building, IT Park, Lahug, Cebu City, Cebu
Responsibilities:
Convert audio file and download to express scribe
Transcribe within 24 hours all the files received during the day
Ensure 98% to 100% accuracy in the transcription of the audio file sent by the client
Proofread all transcriptions prior to entering the data in visit note to avoid errors
Enter data in IMS Visit Note once proofreading is completed
Notify the client after the completion of entering data in IMS Visit Note
Complete all dictations for the day from the client
Perform additional tasks that are dependent on the client's requests
Requirements:
Graduate of any course or with a certificate program from a Medical Transcriptionist school
Strongly prefer 2 years experience as a medical transcriptionist
Good attention to detail
Typing speed of 55WPM with 95% accuracy in transcription
Good listening, comprehension, and research skills
Good English grammar and pronunciation both oral and written
Knowledge of medical terminology
Ability to focus and concentrate with little distraction
