Job Descriptions:
Collects and process specimens for analysis
Examines processes and analyzes of blood, urine, stool and other body fluids
Rotate to all functional sections of laboratory like Hematology, Microscopy, Chemistry, Microbiology, Histopath and Reception Area.
Assist also pathologist when the supervisor is not around
Receives specimen and request
Do the recording, logging, releasing and sign out laboratory results.
Performs laboratory quality control procedures.
Responsible for maintaining general cleanliness of working area.
Refers problematic cases situation to supervisor and to the pathologist as well
Extract blood very stations request by the Doctor.
Verification of request and charging it.
Gives patient information regarding the preparation of test.
Get all the complete data of patients and encodes it in patient information system
Logging of important data of patients to their designated logbooks.
Answer all the incoming calls and get the concerns and delivered it immediately
Do the quality control and graph for sections like chemistry and hematology
Do all the extraction of blood and in the therapeutic phlebotomy and knowledgeable in the specific tubes color.
Records all test results done and releases it with signature.
Do the typing results
Process the petty voucher for send outs procedures and purchased of blood.
Processed and get details of information of send outs form other hospital for special procedures
Process blood for cross
Cross matching and packing of red blood cells for transfusion.
Follow proper maintenance of equipment
Assist in the checking of the supplies status
Do the proper filing and storage of laboratory documents.
Other duties assigned by the supervisor.
