JOB DESCRIPTION
The Medical Technologist shall perform basic laboratory procedures, this may include, but is not limited to: collecting samples, testing specimens, recording results and disposing of hazardous waste, inclusive of all support activities necessary for the satisfactory performance of responsibilities of laboratory unit.
Education : Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology; Clinical Laboratory science or allied health technologies
Minimum Experience : At least 1 year of experience of being a Med Tech;
Skills : Excellent verbal and written English communication skills; Excellent Customer Service skills; Detail-oriented; Ability to use complex medical equipment; Willing to work under pressure and irregular hours; Be on call; Computer literate (Word, Excel & Outlook); Adaptable; Fast learner.
Competencies : Multi-task efficient, Decisive, Good listener, Values confidentiality.
