Description
1. Reviewing, analyzing and assessing clinical research papers,data, studies and clinical trials, medical information, papers and publications as provided by Suppliers/Company for new products or competitive studies.
2. Coordinating with Company's Business Development in new product research to fit target product profiles and product portfolio.
3. Planning and execution of Clinical Trials of new products as required including internal and external supervision.
4. All Regulatory and Pharmacovigilance supervision including to create internal and external SOP system in accordance with DOH/FDA guidelines.
5. Setting performance targets/KPI's for Pharmacovigilance of Company's Regulatory Departments.
6. Preparation of new product marketing handbook/sales materials in coordination with Business Development for medical professionals, distributors, governmental bodies and other stakeholders; including presentations at seminars and to other such stakeholders as required.
7. Primary contact for medical governance requirements for the Client.
8. Accountable for monitoring and communicating understanding of all compliance requirements, risk identification and assessment, mitigation planning for any event, product rollout or other medical scenarios.
9. Serve as key medical spokesperson and primary medical representative with government agencies (e.g. DOH, FDA, LGU's and other institutions), professional associations, specific interest groups and the healthcare community at large.
10. Review and preparation of medical documentation for Certification of Product Registration when and if required.
11. Providing seminars, training and training materials for Client's stakeholders.
12. Frequent review of Company's standards and SOP's to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
13. Further Client's business development by recommending opportunities and new product developments.
Background/Skills:
1. Minimum 5 years experience as Medical Director or Senior Medical Officer position in the Pharma Industry or Pharma field in general.
2. Profound experience with DOH and FDA policies, guidelines and requirements. This extends to having formed professional relationships with good standing with Government bodies and the medical profession (and Associations) at large.
3. Experience in product research, clinical studies, pharmacovigilance and regulatory principles and affairs.
4. Outstanding team leadership qualities, communication skills and team player, having led a department/medical team and interaction with peers and Executive levels.
5. Ability to represent the Company's interests and image in public or
professional forum.
6. Medical School education with MD or commensurate degree, with
valid Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam).
