Job Details:
Work from home - Eastwood Libis, Quezon City
Monday to Friday | 7 PM to 4 AM Manila Time
US Holidays will be followed
Responsibilities:
Coordinates the insurance billing function, and sees to the proper application of patient, insurance, and other payments.
Prepares weekly and monthly reports on billing, accounts pending diagnosis, and late charges.
Performs Billing Clerk duties and coordinates and performs insurance follow-up and denial management procedures.
Performs other clerical or supervisory duties as assigned.
Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision.
Interact professionally with other employees, customers, and vendors.
Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments.
Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and the organization.
Qualifications:
Associate or bachelor's degree (preferred).
Must have at least 3-5 years of billing experience in a physician environment.
Comprehensive knowledge of insurance plans, member eligibility, and medical billing.
Strong background in government and commercial payers.
Understanding of CPT, ICD-10, UB, HCFA, and 837 terminologies.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Detail oriented.
Strong problem-solving and research skills.
Excellent math, verbal, and communication skills.
Computer proficiency.
