Responsibilities:
Leadership and Collaboration: Provide effective leadership to billing team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
Hands-On Billing and Collection: Actively participate in billing and collection tasks, demonstrating a hands-on approach to ensure the smooth functioning of the team.
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans for optimizing billing processes and enhancing team productivity.
Quality Assurance: Oversee quality assurance processes to ensure accuracy and compliance in billing procedures.
Process Improvement: Continually analyze the client's revenue cycle processes and procedures to identify areas for improvement. Develop detailed improvement plans to address areas of improvement.
Team Development: Manage, develop, and mentor the billing staff and/or outsourced billing vendors of our clients. Manage internal staff providing managed services to our clients.
Reporting and Documentation: Deliver periodic reports, metrics, and dashboards on the health of the client's practice. Document new Revenue Management policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
At least 2 years of experience managing a billing team.
Experience in implementing, optimizing, and managing practice management systems and electronic health records.
Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-service focus.
Proven ability to develop new workflows, transform culture, and use analytical tools.
Proven leadership abilities and comprehensive knowledge of healthcare information systems.

Proficient in project management, process improvement, and change management.
Multitasking ability, strategic thinking, and negotiation skills.
Customer-focused, service-oriented, and adept in MS Office Tools.
Nice to have:
MBA and professional certifications
