If you have strong attention to detail, great communication skills, and experience with medical billing workflows, this role might be a great fit for you.This role is open to all candidates in the Philippines and all over Latin America.RequirementsWhat You'll Be Doing:
Collect patient information, including demographics and insurance details
Verify insurance eligibility and coverage before appointments
Translate diagnoses and procedures into standardized codes (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS)
Enter codes and charges into the billing software based on provider documentation
Create and send insurance claims electronically (or on paper, when needed)
Ensure claims are complete and error-free to avoid denials
Apply payments from insurance and patients to the correct accounts
Follow up on unpaid or denied claims
Resubmit corrected claims when needed
Send bills to patients for unpaid balances
Handle payment plans or collections
What We're Looking For:
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
Experience in medical billing, charge entry, AR follow-up, or payment posting
Familiarity with ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes
Experience using medical billing or EHR/EMR software
Available to work in US time zones (Graveyard shift in the Philippines)
Available to start within 2 weeks from job offer
Technical Requirements:
Comfortable in using time-trackers (e.g. Time Doctor)
Own laptop/desktop, noise-cancelling headphones, and webcam
Reliable internet connection (at least 50 Mbps)
Available backup equipment in cases of power and internet outages
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and Google Workspace
