Fluor is seeking a Mechanical Technician for Technical Services who will assist with the execution of a mechanical managed services project for a U.S. Government customer at Camp Humphreys, South Korea. This is a permanent position that will comprise a mix of preventative and corrective maintenance of the following systems: . Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Systems for critical spaces within the building. HVAC equipment shall include Water Cooled Chillers, Pumps, heat Exchanger, Cooling Towers, Computer Room Air Conditioning Units (CRC), etc. . Fuel storage and polishing systems . Indoor cooling towers and associated components . Ground water pumps . Plumbing Responsibilities: . Perform periodic preventive maintenance on Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Systems, fuel storage and polishing systems, indoor cooling towers, chillers, and ground water pumps. . Perform root cause analysis of mechanical equipment malfunctions and while striving for continuous improvement and making recommendations to customer. . Respond to or review corrective maintenance requests to determine the need for repair. . Prepare corrective maintenance service orders, work statements, cost estimates and price proposals for submission to customer. Basic Job Requirements . Active TS/SCI Clearance. . High School Diploma or equivalent. . Three or more (3+) years' experience with working knowledge of chiller plants, complex fan systems, laboratories, and cleanrooms. . Training in basics of mechanical equipment from a technical school or certifications received during training classes from industry vendors. . Experience with US Federal Government projects, contracts, policies and procedures. . Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, building drawings and technical descriptions. . Ability to effectively communicate progress, status and issues to internal and external customers. . Interpersonal skills telephone skills patience problem solving skills attention to detail organization skills accuracy time management must be able to perform inspection of work and must know the status of all work. . Individual must possess a valid Driver's license in good standing. . Individual must be at least 21 years of age in order to participate in the required Siemens vehicle plan. Preferred Qualifications . Associate's degree from a two year college or technical school. . Prefer five or more (5+) years' of demonstrable experience in Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Systems, Chillers, Cooling Towers, and CRACs To be Considered Candidates: Must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located.
