SCOPE OF WORK
Utilities production and equipment operations, utilities equipment, waste water treatment plant operations and plant raw water supply deep wells operations and maintenance.   
 
C. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Acts with highest degree of integrity, honesty and knowledge that promote culture, values, vision and mission of SBTC.
 
2. Creates a positive learning environment by providing clear, specific, timely and respectful coaching and feedback to other supervisors to ensure operational excellence and to improve performance.
3. Hire and train, supervise, plan, assign and shift schedule to include daily work station assignments/rotations, employee training, employee vacations, employee breaks, overtime assignment, back up for absent employees, shift rotation,  conduct periodic performance appraisals, address performance issues, and resolve problems.
 
4. Coordinate and direct maintenance activities making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
 
5. Direct, interpret, organize, execute maintenance plans that ensure assignments are completed safely and efficiently.
 
6. Develop and recommend modifications to related policies.
 
7. Provide leadership to keep maintenance, material acquisition and operations on schedule.
 
8. Recommend to the Maintenance Department Head the hiring, firing, promotion, or disciplining of maintenance personnel.
 
9. Ensure that preventive and corrective maintenance are properly done in accordance with good engineering practice.
 
10. Perform other job-related duties required or assigned and not limited to the job description without overlapping with other duties.
