Job Description
fit and assemble metal parts to fabricate production machines and other equipment.
maintain and repair mechanical plant machinery and equipment to operational standards.
Analyzing the blueprints for mechanical systems to determine the specifications of the components to be constructed.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 6 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be at least a graduate of a four-year undergraduate course.
relevant industry experience working in marine, industrial plant and equipment, oil and gas, minerals processing, materials handling etc.
• Experience in marine propulsion systems, gearboxes & transmissions, load handling equipment, fluid management and processing systems.
• Conduct overhauling of various mechanical units in the workshop to the standards and specifications outlined.
• Studying drawings and specifications to determine suitable material, method and sequence of operations, and machine settings.
