Job Description
Mechanical Engineering Technician located in the Philippines. This position will work with the Microchip Mechanical Engineering team. The Microchip Mechanical Engineering team is responsible for the design and implementation of mechanical systems and mechanical interconnect for Microchip test facilities. This position will be responsible for assisting the Mechanical Engineers with re-orders of existing projects, data collection on project evaluations, incoming inspections of all mechanical systems and contactors, assembly of mechanical systems, and administrative duties.
Job Requirements
Associates degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
Strong computer application experience like MS Office, ect.
Strong troubleshooting/problem solving skills
Strong mechanical aptitude
Great aptitude for learning
Self-starter
Able to prioritize and manage complex projects
Good verbal and written English.
Percentage of Shift and Longest Time (Enter Standing %, Walking %, Sitting %, Driving %, Inside %, Outside %, Hours standing, walking, sitting, driving, and Usual shift hours and days)
first shift, some rotation to second shift (M-F). Sitting 50%
