MECHANICAL ENGINEER
 
Job Descriptions
To monitor mechanical progress at site
To inspect and ensuring that all mechanical works are in accordance with the approved construction drawings, contract, documents and project specifications
Coordinate with the consultants and contractors regarding mechanical plans if needed to change the location of mechanical equipment’s, etc.
Responsible to evaluate mechanical system, products, components and applications by designing and conducting research program; applying knowledge of mechanical and materials
Ensuring proper erection and alignment  of pumps and turbine or related to mechanical equipments
Responsible to inspect dimensions of the incoming material to ensure that the materials dimensions are within the permissible limits
To ensure the equipment is erected, pre-commissioned, tested (if required) and commissioned in accordance with the agreed contracts.
Must be able to make report and submit to the Project Manager weekly on progress
Job Qualifications
A graduate of Mechanical Engineering
With PRC License
At least 5 years of working experience in the related field
Knowledge in Mechanical Design Criteria, Drawing and method statements, Test Procedures
Strong Computer Skills
Communication and leadership skills
Critical thinker and coordination skills
Good judgement and decision making
Ability to work independently and part of a team as well.
Knowledgeable in HVAC, Chillers, Cooling Towers, ACU, FCU
Experience in testing and commissioning of mechanical equipment and system
Knowledge in Sanitary, Drainage and Water Distribution System
Basic knowledge on Mechanical Codes, Fire Codes, Sanitary Codes and related Building codes
