Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop new Lasermet Safety products and improvement of existing products.
Work with a cross-functional team from the concept stage until the production stage.
Provide manufacturing support to the Enclosure team in creating production drawings, parts purchases, and UK-based engineer requests.
Prototyping and Testing on Proof of Concept.
Create a proof of concept, collect data, cost analysis, design validation, and testing of the design output for the R&D task with a focus on Door and Window.
Manage project deliverables, BOM list, and product cost.
Efficient and timely delivery of the assigned task.
Develop essential skills in the use of company software (Autodesk Inventor and Autodesk Vault) in delivering 3D and 2D Drawings.
Project coordination, status updates, and feedback with team members/cross-functional team to solve and anticipate project issues.
Develop solutions to encountered engineering design issues, and identify risks, impact, and cost.
Ensure timely delivery of assigned R&D project, task, and workload in accordance with product specification provided by UK/Client/Project Lead.
Initiate in aiding team members when capable to maximize productivity and timely delivery of projects.
Perform other engineering duties as assigned by the Manager.
