MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER
 
Are responsible to:
Create new machine design, programming and machine operations according to customer specifications and perform machine assembly based on mechanical drawing specification
Evaluate current machine condition and initiate improvements and verify its effectiveness to increase machine efficiency and quality
Conduct Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (DFMEA) to determine potential failures and their causes
Assist production in solving and repairing machine breakdown/problems to ensure smooth flow of operations
Research and develop ideas for new and/or improved machine designs to improve and optimize machine designs for productivity and longevity
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in ME or ECE, with 1-2 years of relevant industrial experience
Proficiency with engineering design programs such as Solidworks or AutoCAD
Sound knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials and quality control protocols
Good understanding of pneumatics, motors, sensors and mechanical components
