To support Action Against Hunger in the design and implementation of cohesive Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) systems focused on data collection, analysis and reporting in line with proposals and agreed plans at the base level.
Do you meet the profile required criteria?
Bachelor's degree preferably in Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, ICT, Social Sciences or related field.
At least 1-2 years of experience in the design and implementation of MEAL in development or humanitarian projects
Previous experience working with and alongside governmental structures and local/international partners
Experience in the conduct and supervision of field assessments, monitoring, surveys, focus group discussions, and key informant interviews
Experience in the documentation and collection of sources of verification for achievement of project indicators
Demonstrated ability to train and build capacity of others
Knowledge in the design of Monitoring and Evaluation tools, surveys, surveillance systems, and evaluations
Strong expertise in conducting participatory monitoring, evaluation and assessments
Extensive experience in the application of sampling, survey design, and questionnaire design methodologies
Extensive experience in data processing and database management, from data capturing to data analysis
Rich experience in programming and understanding of Logical Framework and indicators
Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
Knowledge in capacity development, information management and reporting
Broad knowledge of humanitarian and development issues
Understanding of local and international emergency standards (SPHERE and others)
Knowledgeable in community-based feedback mechanism
Familiarity with the local culture and ability to communicate effectively to local stakeholders
Excellent English and Filipino language. Speaking the Bicol dialect is an advantage.
Valuable prior experience in issues related to the promotion of gender equality or personal commitment to gender equality.
