About the MDM Solutions Manager Role:
The MDM Solution Manager is a key role in leading the technical implementation of all organisation-wide master data framework in the target MDM solution. The position will focus on establishing and ensuring the execution and solutioning of an enterprise master data framework implementation in line with business needs, best practices and enterprise architectural standards. The MDM Solution Manager serves as global point of contact for master data management implementation and solution owner, and be responsible for owning the platform and coordinate all needed developments. The MDM Solution Manager will closely work with the Master Data Management Manager to ensure functional requirement and framework can be translated and implemented in the right technology framework.
Key Responsibilities:
Establish a sound enterprise master data management technical implementation roadmap including strategic principles for development of data-driven organisation
Roll out an enterprise-wide master data management solution in the different data domains, with a focus on governance workflow and data business services through a sound technical solution addressing governance and inconsistencies issues
Participate in master data management committees, ensuring architecture and solutioning is following best practices
Implement technical solution mirroring MDM standards, policies and procedures
Lead the development and implementation of MDM solutions and workflows
Implement indicators of performance and quality metrics and ensure compliance with MDM related policies, standards, roles and responsibilities, and adoption requirements
Stay informed on available best practises and research suppliers and markets, to identify new tools opportunities pertaining to the use of data assets to achieve efficiency and effectiveness in the business processes
Lead MDM solutions evaluation from technical sides in collaboration with enterprise architecture according to the industry standards and cutting-edge technologies
Collaborate with leadership across the organisation to implement MDM Governance and MDM Stewardship capabilities
Engage a network of business/IT stakeholders where there will be influence but not authority
Liaise between MDM and Enterprise Architecture and Security team to ensure that master data related requirements are clearly defined, communicated and well understood and considered as part of operational prioritisation and technical implementation
Collaborate on the delivery of MDM communication plans to help establish a cultural change in how data governance is perceived and managed at the company
Work with business teams and other data and analytics teams to ensure key business users are educated and trained in what MDM practises are currently implemented and available within the company to meet business requirements and consequently maintain the data strategy aligned to it

Key Requirements:
Five or more years' experience on leading the developments of master data management solutions according with best practices and standards
Five or more years in a major service organisation, with change or transformation leadership experience and good understanding of various project management techniques
Experience with implementing and solutioning master data management frameworks and roadmaps according with business needs and speficiations
Varied and detailed knowledge of data management areas such as data migration, metadata management, master data management, workflow implementations
Outstanding interpersonal skills so you are seen as credible, knowledgeable and a positive representative of the data and analytics team
Demonstrated technical skills and development coordination leadership
Ability to constructively challenge requirements and current state to increase overall value to the firm
Flexibility to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change
Strong organisational, technical understanding and analytical skills
Experience in main MDM solution and enterprise-wide implementations (where ERP is S4 Hana)
