About the role
Ensure that sufficient raw materials are always available for smooth production continuity.
What you will do
Ensure material supply meets production requirement including safety stock target while optimizing cost
Manage ramp-ups and slow down to ensure no supply gap or excessive inventory
Plans, calculates raw materials requirement using S&OP
Monitors stocks movement to ensures FIFO is followed
Support cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives
Continuously monitor non-conforming raw materials and take action to deplete, scrap and if possible re-use it (concession)
Manage inventory risk and ensure that contingency plans are in place
Ensure correctness of raw material Logistic view in SAP
Submit timely report such as critical materials, weekly highlights/lowlights, Obsolescence provision and quarterly RFF data.
Comply with the proper operating procedures of 5S, safety and health standards/regulations
What you will need
The incumbent must have the following:
Knowledgeable with purchasing system.
Ability to build and maintain strong internal and external relationships.
Attention to detail and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
Result oriented and organized with the ability to plan and deliver against deadlines
Understand manufacturing and quality assurance processes.
Excellent communication skills. Fluent in written and verbal communication (English).
