Job description . Assesses material requirements based on Capacity Requirement Planning (CRP), and STARTS Planning to ensure supportability. . Evaluates and confirms material-related LLC (lower level constraints) of the CRP and any upsides/downsides as specified in DMM (Daily Modification Module). . Initiates the purchase requisitions of the needed materials in response to the demand, and monitors the deliveries. . Controls the buffer stocks to the desired levels through close coordination with OF, RP, PPC, QA, Manufacturing and suppliers. . Drives, analyzes, and monitors stock movement or consumption against the planning reference. Coordinates with IE and Manufacturing on any corrections that need to be made. . Performs risk analysis on critical materials to ensure that production requirements are met with the lowest material cost (in terms of inventory days and potential obsolescence). . Resolves day-to-day issues affecting material supply by coordinating with Warehouse, Suppliers, IQC, PPC, OF and other stakeholders. . Conducts meetings with suppliers to secure the continuity of supply within the defined key performance targets (inventory days, holds, scrappages) . Leads MRB meetings to seek fast dispositions for quality-affected materials needed for production, whenever necessary. . Coordinates with Purchasing on the PO process and escalated issues to the GPO/CentralBEMT organizations. . Coordinates with IQC and Warehouse on incoming critical items/late deliveries by providing ship-alerts and monitoring arrival. Profile - graduate of BS IE, ECE, EE or any related engineering course - with at least 5 years experience as material planner with exposure on assembly - knowledgeable in the Supply Chain process - knowledgeable with manufacturing and production planning - able to resolve customer issues on time - possesses good inventory and project management skills - must be able to understand and use the planning tools and systems (SAP, FW2) - with above average interpersonal and communication skills - must have a keen eye for details - willing to be relocated in Calamba, Laguna
