MASTER PLANNER PROFILE Setting up production planning for daily/weekly use Analyzes, maintains, and drives production plan to ensure meeting customer requirements. Proactively identifies bottlenecks or areas that would delay supply chain movement, delay production, and/or result in significant supply commit impact. Takes actions to prevent delays and negative operational and financial impact and involves-escalates to other departments and management if needed to resolve issues Makes sure the information in the ERP system is representing the actual status on the production floor. Analyzes, plans, initiates, and implements all applicable supply planning-related efforts to ensure on-time delivery. Operating within his/her authorized tasks-responsibilities. Responsible for the timely and accurate development and completion of analytical projects associated with production plans, inventory and capacity planning Stay accurately informed on materials and systems used by the company in order to identify trends and best practices that will allow the company to operate more efficiently Proposes or requests improvements within production or production related systems and or processes. Exchange knowledge and experience with Operations CYS Group and/or the master planner(s) of the other production location in order to learn from each other and pro-actively increase efficiency at all locations. Reports (frequently) to manager production and-or local/global management QUALIFICATIONS High level of interpersonal skills Strong communication skills Honest Willing to learn from mistakes Self-motivated Passionate about process improvement High level as well as capable to orient on detail level Quality conscious Able to work independently and efficiently on various assignments Knowledge and good understanding of ERP systems Process oriented Strong analytical skills The successful candidate should have at least 3-5 years background in manufacturing, preferably as a planner or master scheduler. Understanding of the manufacturing process and practices is necessary. Must have mature MS-Office skills. Preferably BA/BS degree in business related field of study or equivalent training and/or experience Native language as well as excellent English language both verbal as in writing
