JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for planning, development and implementation of all of the
hospital's marketing strategies, marketing communications, and public
relations activities, both external and internal.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
1. Responsible for creating, implementing and measuring the success of:
a. comprehensive marketing, communications and public relations program that will enhance the hospital's image and position within the marketplace and the general public, and facilitate internal and external communications; and,
b. all Organization marketing, communications and public relations activities and materials including publications, media relations, gaining of clients and so forth.
2. Oversees development and implementation of support materials and services for departments in
the area of marketing.
2. Develop, coordinate and oversee programs, technical assistance and resource materials to assist department in the marketing, communications and positioning of their activities.
3. Responsible for the achievement of marketing mission, goals and financial objectives. Ensure that evaluation systems are in place related to these goals and objectives and report progress to the Chair, Marketing and Advertising Committee or Hospital Administrator.
4. Develop short- and long-term plans and budgets for the marketing program and its activities, monitor progress, assure adherence and evaluate performance.
5. Does monthly report directly to Chair, Marketing and Advertising Committee and Hospital Administrator.
6. Does other tasks that may assign from time to time.
7. Undertakes the 5-S in the workplace.
