Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Build rapport with contacts by cold calling, offering resources (webinar invitations, white papers, relevant blog articles, etc.) and understanding where the prospect is in the buying process
-Gather key information to update the CRM system and assign a nurture path and follow-up strategy
-Research and identify client prospects via web/social media mining and contact via email outreach or outbound calls with the goal of gaining interest and setting an appointment
-Connect with client using call, email or social sites to generate initial interest, determine pain points and schedule a discovery call, free analysis or other appointment
-Manage expectations and overcome objections to get an appointment
-Once a prospect shows interest, assemble prospect profile overview including bio, LinkedIn link, pain points, appointment time/date for sales
-Coach the appointment with the prospect to ensure it holds
-If needed, perform additional research, including ancillary stakeholders, profile building such as hobbies, interests, geographic area, school attended, etc.
-Maintain an organized pipeline and activity records using a CRM tool
-Reach and exceed key performance indicators including calls scheduled, calls completed, qualified opportunities and deals won from meetings.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-College degree in Marketing/Business or related field
-At least 1 year work experience in sales and/or marketing with high energy, enthusiasm and pleasing personality
-Familiarity with sales process and understanding of Marketing elements
-Excellent verbal and written English communication and presentation skills
-Resourceful and goal-oriented
-Highly proficient in MS Office applications, marketing tools such as social media sites, CRM tools
-Highly proficient in MS Office applications
-Must be detail-oriented.
