Overall Purpose of Job:
Support the development of cost-effective, high-quality sales proposals and presentations by providing editing, coordination, desktop publishing, graphic services, production, and printing services.
Essential Functions:
. Under general supervision, support Marketing Services personnel in the reproduction of sales documents and other related sales materials
. Master the operation of word processing systems, as required, to meet sales demands
. Produce error-free documents, often within a tight timeframe
. Exhibit interpersonal skills that foster a team approach to sales efforts and demonstrate professionalism and initiative
. Perform duties with little supervision
. Properly file and archive all sales material
. Effectively maintain electronic communications between offices
. Immediately report all equipment and scheduling problems to Marketing Services management
. Perform additional coordination, clerical, and administrative tasks as determined necessary by Marketing Services management
. Assist other operators and Marketing Services personnel in answering and resolving technical questions and problems
. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive materials
. Assist in maintaining marketing material inventories, arranging courier services, preparing files for permanent retention, and packaging and shipping marketing materials
. Act as liaison for the department for marketing production equipment, maintenance, and repair
. Assist in processing work through graphics, word processing, and the reprographics department
. Maintain the print pack files
. Maintain the resource files
. Perform outsourcing function, acting as liaison with vendors and internal reprographics and procurement departments
. Perform additional tasks as determined necessary by Marketing Services management
. Perform other duties, as assigned
Basic Job Requirements
. Willing and able to work on a nightshift.
. College degree or equivalent work experience required, English, marketing, or business degree preferred
. 2+ years of related experience
. Working knowledge of Lotus Notes and familiarity with Fluor's word processing, presentation, design package, and spreadsheet software
. Experience using Web browser
. Good customer relations, clerical, and organizational skills
. Keen sense of attention to detail
. Able to handle stress, work with high energy, and work overtime, as needed, with little to no advance notice
. Able to accommodate a flexible schedule willing and able to adapt to the demands of a high-paced, corporate environment
. Must be able to operate a computer and other office equipment in an indoor environment. Work involves sitting most of the time, but also involves walking or standing. Must be able to lift weight up to 20 pounds (e.g., binders, paper reams)
Preferred Qualifications
. Accredited two (2) year degree or global equivalent work experience in English, marketing, or business preferred
. Working knowledge of Microsoft office applications, Adobe Illustrator and InDesign
