JOB DESCRIPTION 
 
The Marketing Manager is responsible in handling the production of layouts and illustrations as well as organizing and coordinating promotional activities in the hotel. Promote and enhance the hotel image according to the target set and approved by the hotel management.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Attend daily briefings
Prepare advertisement requisitions and ad copies according to the monthly media schedule.
Raise budget inquiry for monthly advertising
Keep a systematic file of advertising
Prepare collateral job orders according to the requests from various department
Proofread all collaterals' copy for approval of the Resident Manager
Follow the deadline closely regarding production of artworks and printed materials
Keep files of all hotel collaterals
Keep track of the collaterals and amend when necessary
Contact and entertain Press on a regular basis
Prepare press release for any promotions
Monitor photo library
Design and produce layouts according to the Marketing brief
Design and produce layouts and artworks for internal forms and collaterals.
Handle artwork production including illustrations and paste-up
Responsible for promotion on hand-make production
Suggest creative ideas in line with the Hotel's seasonal promotions
Create quality artwork to match with hotel image and branding
Perform other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned depending on the operational requirement of the department/division. 
OTHERS
Strictly adhere to the policies and procedures issued by the Hotel Management based on the Code of Discipline
Observe proper hygiene and dress code based on Hotel's standards
Maintain a positive decorum to maintain a healthy working atmosphere with the departments
Maintain harmonious working relationship with other Department Heads and associates
Maintain strong, professional relationship with the relevant representatives from competitors hotels, business partners and other organizations
Attend meetings and trainings as scheduled by the Sales Managers
Maintains own working area, materials, and company property clean, tidy and in good shape, reports defective materials and equipment to appropriate individual / department
Possess solid knowledge of the following:
Hotel fire, bomb, and emergency procedures
Hotel health and safety policies and procedures
Hotel facilities and nearby sights of interest and importance (i.e. hospitals, police stations, tourist sites)
Hotel standards of operation and departmental procedures
Ensure professional business confidentiality
Perform other duties that may be required
