*The Marketing Content Writer new hire is expected to work from home for the mean time due to COVID. Once everything is back to normal, the Marketing Content Writer new hire will be expected to report in our IT Park office in Cebu.
General Description: The Marketing Content Writer creates creative content for marketing materials such as articles, blogs, whitepapers, product descriptions, social media platforms, websites, and web applications.
Location: 8th floor Skyrise 4B Building, IT Park, Lahug, Cebu City, Cebu
Responsibilities:
Gathers prospective clients' contact details through research
Conducting in-depth research on industry-related topics in order to develop original content.
Writing content for articles, product descriptions, blogs, social media, and the company website.
Assisting the marketing team in developing content for advertising campaigns.
Proofreading content for errors and inconsistencies.
Editing and polishing existing content to improve readability.
Conducting keyword research and using SEO best practices to increase traffic to the company website.
Creating compelling headlines and body copy that will capture the attention of the target audience.
Identifying customers' needs and recommending new content to address gaps in the company's current content.
Requirements:
Graduate of any four year course
A year of content writing or copywriting experience preferred but fresh graduates are welcome to apply
Strong writing and editing skills
Working knowledge of content management systems
The ability to handle multiple projects concurrently
Strong English communication skills
Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications
A portfolio of published articles is a plus
The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Must prefer to work in dayshift (8AM-5PM PHT)
Residence in, or willingness to relocate to, Cebu City
