Marketing Assistant - Chery
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Plans, organizes, and coordinates activities for a wide variety of events at different location/areas
· Responsible for booking events and reserving venues/facility space
· Responsible for preparation of proposals, permits, reports, cost estimates, and other documents pertinent to the event
· Sources, negotiates and coordinates with suppliers and contractors
· Communicates event requirement, including technical, physical set up and other marketing materials as needed
· Oversees the event from ingress, event day, up to egress
· Provides support for marketing events and exhibitions and other related marketing activities
· Updates and maintains marketing department's documents
· Performs other related tasks assigned by immediate superior.
EDUCATION
Graduate of a 4 year course preferably Marketing
EXPERIENCE
With 1-2 years of marketing experience in automotive or service oriented organizations
WORKING RELATIONSHIP
· Suppliers/Clients
ABILITIES
· Ability to handle projects simultaneously
· Ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels
KNOWLEDGE
· knowledge of market research, communication methods, analysis
SKILLS
· Proficient in Microsoft Office
(Excel and Powerpoint)
· Strong writing and communication skills
· Advanced skills in media & public relations
· Project Management
· Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Corel Draw applications
· Driving skills preferred but not necessary
CHARACTER
Detail oriented with good follow-up skills
