We are looking for Market Researchers who will specialize in conducting patent searches and performing competitor analysis to provide actionable insights that support strategic decision-making. This role requires expertise in navigating patent databases, analyzing competitive landscapes, and synthesizing research findings into clear and strategic recommendations.
 
Job Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive patent searches using various databases (e.g., USPTO, EPO, Google Patents) to identify relevant patents, analyze patent trends, and assess the competitive landscape.
Perform in-depth competitor analysis by gathering and evaluating information on competitors' products, technologies, market strategies, and business models.
Collect and analyze data on market trends, industry developments, and emerging technologies to support strategic planning and decision-making.
Prepare detailed reports and presentations that summarize research findings, patent landscapes, and competitor insights. Provide recommendations based on data analysis.
Maintain and update databases with relevant patent information and competitor data to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
Work closely with product development, R&D, and strategic planning teams to provide insights that inform product innovation, strategy, and positioning.
Monitor and analyze industry trends and technological advancements to identify opportunities and potential threats in the market.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of research methodologies, findings, and recommendations.
Job Qualifications:
With a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
With at least 2 years of experience in market research, patent analysis, or competitive intelligence
Proficiency in using patent search tools and competitive analysis platforms.
Familiarity with market research methodologies and data analysis techniques.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in conducting research and preparing reports.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively.
