Reporting to Marine Relations Manager, the Maritime Relations Advisor is responsible in coordinating with external stakeholders particularly with the local government and other entity involve in the Manning Office Operation.
The primary area of focus of the role is to act as the liaison officer with local government and ensure that company is kept updated on all developments with respect to new policies, regulations and/or amendments to existing rules by external party and other local agencies and ensures that such updates are posted on MFCI (Maersk Filipinas Crewing Inc) intranet page.

Key Responsibilities
Acts as the middle person between the business and external parties to streamline operations, resolve issues and improve communication
Assures the compliance of the company in all the regulations implemented by the local government.
Ensuring that all monthly reports as well as the vessel enrolment, reflagging, renaming, change of principal and the like are timely.
Promptly respond to incidents and other events as necessary
Develop and foster relationship with external stakeholders
Collaborate with other teams and departments the updates on the processes of the local government
Act as a representative of the company during meetings, seminars and other discussions
Who we are looking for
Related work experience
Good communication and interpersonal skills to be able to work diplomatically with external stakeholders
Good understanding of POEA and MARINA processes
Quick to create sound decision
Have good English language skills verbal and written
We expect you also have:
Postgraduate or university degree
