Qualifications and Competencies:
1) Graduate of Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
2) With Previous experience in Ship Management and/or vessel experience.
3) Excellent written and oral communication skills
4) Atleast 3 years working experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Look after the day-to-day operation of the vessels.
• Responsible for the routine inspection of vessels and ensure all deficiencies noted are rectified and reported.
• Monitors work place activities to ensure that workers comply with company's safety & quality management system (SQMS).
• Help manage risks and hazards in the workplace, our yard and shipyards. This includes raising awareness about the importance of following safety guidelines, and carrying out the drills and exercises to deal with an emergency situation.
• Develop injury and incident prevention strategies for the workplace.
• Recommend important aspects related to safety in ship's maintenance plan.
