Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma/ Certificate in Marine Electrical Systems or equivalent
Training certifications is a plus
At least 5 years work experience in a similar industry
Comprehensive knowledge in different type of ship's electrical circuits such as 12/24/32 Volt DC, 110/240 to 480 Volts AC and multiple low-voltage electronic systems
With capacity to work on disconnected electrical grid resources as generator sets and other alternative power sources
Fully understands the safety of electrical wirings with a variety of techniques in dealing with water incursion, repetitive motion and acts of natures
Capacity to use, repair and maintain machines and tools
Excellent skill in reading blueprint or electrical wiring plans
Excellent color vision and detail oriented
Strong physical strength and stamina with the ability to endure long period of standing and repetitious movements
Mature and hardworking with the ability to work under pressure, long hours and on weekends
Good critical thinking skills and capable to perform procedural troubleshooting
Patience and with ability to remain calm in a stressful situation
Good working character with strong positive attitude
Establish partnership within and outside the team
Can communicate in English well in both oral and written
