Primary Functions
Provides information on the actual harvested and processed birds versus planned volume for the day.
Coordinates with Sales and Opplan representatives regarding inventory, dispatch and age of finished goods, and product allocation based on intended use.
Monitors compliance to known SMFI process standards.
Reviews basic processing efficiencies/recoveries and identifies possible causes of high/low recoveries.
Identifies production bottlenecks and provides strategies to mitigate operational concerns.
Discusses with processing personnel the basic product knowledge for common reference.
Provides immediate feedbacks on incidents of high mortalities of delivered broilers to the plant.
Ensures that only conforming finished products are dispatch to customers.
Ensures real-time SAP processing of FG transactions and implements proper record keeping and distribution of documents.
Spearheads implementation of Good Manufacturing Practices which includes proper grooming, wearing of prescribed uniforms, religious compliance to sanitation and food safety standards.
Ensures compliance to Non-conforming Products (NCP) Guidelines and ensures that corrective actions are identified and implemented.
Monitors movement of stocks and generates finished goods inventory report on a daily basis.
Reconciles SAP entry movement on finished goods receipt, issuance, and or transfer to internal or external warehouses and other plants.
Conducts month-end physical inventory of finished goods with finance and warehouse management representative. Ensures accuracy of data and performs SAP Physical Inventory Difference (PID) to determine any variances.
Reviews billing documents based on actual captured SAP data.
Ensures preparation and collection of buffer stocks intended for value added operations for internal plant use and for transfer to other plants.
Coordinates with other production engineers to address operational issues and concerns.
Qualifications:
1. Licensed Mechanical, Sanitary or Industrial Engineer
2. Above average computer skills
3. Above average communications skills - oral and written
4. Experienced working in a production setting is an advantage
5. SAP knowledge is an advantage
