MANUFACTURING MANAGER
POSITION OBJECTIVE
To support company Value Statement through ensuring that the company objectives on production volume, schedule, quality and on time delivery of products and manufacturing cost are achieved through proper management of the capital, raw materials and manpower resources
POSITION KEY FUNCTIONS
Supports and participates Six Sigma initiatives.
Coordinates with the different departments to be able to plan, lead, organize and control available resources to satisfy customer’s needs.
COORDINATION FUNCTION OBJECTIVES:
a) Production Planning and Control - meets production volume and delivery requirements and religiously comply with production schedules.
b) Quality Assurance - ensures processing of products comply with established quality systems and specifications.
c) Human Resources Department - ensures timely and adequate hiring of department personnel and the creation and maintenance of a satisfactory working environment and the promotion of harmonious working relationship among all associates.
d) Accounting Department - prepares annual department budget based on forecasted standard hours workload and other considerations; -ensures proper accounting of resources utilized in all stages of the operation.
Coordinates activities to promote involvement of associates on areas of continuous improvements of products, working environment and associates personal and career growth.
Involves and enforces in the formulation of policies for the department’s personnel for basic discipline in the offices and production areas.
Enforces proper housekeeping for an orderly safe and healthy working environment.
Formulates goals and objectives to sustain continuous improvement in all aspects of the operation.
Establishes systems and procedures on areas such as Production, Quality and reviews for Engineering and Maintenance for appropriate control and utilization of resources to ensure Product Quality, Volume Requirements Cost and Delivery objectives are meet.
Enforces the company’s maintenance policies, procedures, and programs to ensure excellent conditions and maximum utilization of all machinery and equipment.
Responsible in ensuring compliance to QS9000 elements and other related requirements applicable.
Ensures that control plans are properly developed, signed off and implemented.
Ensures product characteristic standards/tolerance are met and defectives are effectively contained.
Directs the investigation and analysis of quality problems encountered in plant.
Coordinates customer concern resolution and recurrence prevention.
Reviews inspection and control system to ensure detection/prevention of product/process Quality problems.
In all areas of responsibilities, the incumbent is responsible in assuring that appropriate safeguards are in place, which have direct impact on the Health and Safety of associates and the Environment.
