How You Spend Your Eight Hour
Lead and manage a team of 10-15 accountants, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure high performance and professional growth.
Oversee and coordinate day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, payroll, and financial reporting.
Develop and implement efficient accounting procedures and controls to streamline processes and improve accuracy.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as finance, operations, and senior management, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, accounting regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and provide strategic insights.
Train team members on the effective use of accounting applications, tools, and systems to enhance productivity and accuracy.
Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and identify opportunities for professional development within the team.
Monitor and analyze financial data, prepare reports, and present findings to senior management for decision-making purposes.
Drive process improvements by identifying inefficiencies and implementing solutions to enhance productivity, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness.
Foster a positive and inclusive team culture, promoting open communication, collaboration, and a strong work ethic.
What You Must Possess
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
Proven experience as a managing accountant or in a similar leadership role.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey management organizational information needed on a consistent basis.
Cultural savvy and the ability to work effectively with individuals from various backgrounds and levels of experience.
Proficiency in accounting software and applications, with the ability to train and mentor team members in their use (QBO, Bill.com, Expensify, etc.).
Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.
Process-driven mentality, continuously seeking opportunities for improvement and efficiency gains.
Demonstrated ability to multitask and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others towards achieving goals.
Clear and concise communication - both written and verbal English
Experience in a remote environment is preferred.

What You Should Consider
Full-time position
Monday to Friday, 9 PM to 6 AM
Work-from-home, but might be required to go to the office from time to time
Salary ranging from 60,000 to 70,000 depending on experience
