Manager, Sr. Communications
Summary:
Along with Director/Sr. Director, drives the Communications Team to achieve individual, team and business goals. Safeguards the risk and reputation of the organization by managing strategic and tactical branding and communications efforts, both internal and external. Functions as the alternate Crisis Communications lead. Engages with various stakeholders to determine the right strategies which support culture change, awareness and engagement. Highly collaborative and highly visible. Works closely with the different leads across Support Functions and Operations. Identifies and drives innovation for communications in an evolving environment.
General Responsibilities:
Strategy development, planning and tactical delivery of communications content and channels for Capital One Philippines: both internal (across multiple projects and initiatives) and external.
Reviews and approves content through identified appropriate internal and external channels prior to final approval by Head of Communications
Develops and maintains a strong collaborative partnership with various internal stakeholders and customers from Capital One Philippines and from the broader Customer Channels or Card Communications Team.
Relationship management with external communications agencies that may be performing work on behalf of Capital One Philippines.
Manages financial budget assigned directly to the Communications Team.
Secondary lead for Risk-related activities such as Corporate Audits and Business Continuity Activities.
Provides functional leadership to a team, as applicable, including ensuring adherence to agreed-upon timelines and quality of work produced by the team.
Other job-related duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Communication Arts, Organization Communications, Marketing, Advertising, Business Management or other related courses, or with equivalent work experience
8 or more years of experience in Corporate Communications, Organizational Communications, Marketing or Advertising in a managerial capacity
Experience in managing and handling Crisis Communications
Experience in collaborating across all levels in an organization that is fast-paced
Experience in developing end-to-end communications strategies with measures of success, developing content (written and creative formats) and managing/monitoring tactical delivery
Experienced in engaging with public relations/media firms and developing strategies for external communications and organizational brand management
Consistent drive for results and customer orientation
Strong judgement, collaboration and influencing skills
Excellent verbal and written skills
Amenable to work in Alabang
Amenable to work in a mid shift schedule
