SUMMARY OF ROLE
SunPower is seeking a Project Operations Manager who will own end-to-end process for planning and executing on key operational activities in completing project milestones to achieve residential installation targets for the Residential ND/TPS business. The Project Operations Manager reports to the Order to Cash Senior Manager and will be responsible for managing the Projection Operations team's daily operations and performance in achieving business objectives and metrics in accordance to agreed service level in partnership with the Project Coordinators and relevant stakeholders in the US.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
(Manage the Project Operations team responsible in providing support to Project Coordinators in the installation lifecycle
Ensure that team performs in accordance to the objectives and service level agreements set with the business stakeholders
Promote operational excellence, identifying and executing opportunities to optimize organization system and processes
Support stakeholders reporting on key risks, issues and metrics
Lead operational initiatives, working closely with key stakeholders within and outside the organization
Implement, manage changes and interventions to ensure goals are achieved
Establish and own critical communications within the organization around key process operational activities and updates
First level escalation and resolution of direct reports' daily operational issues
Organize or assist key operational meetings with stakeholders and/or staff meetings
Perform coaching, performance reviews and development plan of team members
Conduct quarterly resource and capacity planning to ensure the team is appropriately staffed to perform and deliver results
Perform other duties that may be assigned
Complies at all times the Environment, Health and Safety and Company Quality standards, rules and regulations
RELATED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Minimum requirements
B.S. Degree in Industrial Engineering, Construction management or Business Management
6+ years of experience in project management
People and management skills and ability to interact with peers, cross-functional stakeholders, and if needed external third parties.
Experience with working remotely in a virtual environment
Ability to work independently while maintaining all deadlines and critical date obligations
Effective time management and organization skills
Effective and professional communication skills - written and verbal
Demonstrated ability to establish processes, workflows, standard procedures
Proven customer service background
Experience using a CRM and/or project management software
Experience in leading and/or participating in continuous improvement projects
Team-player attitude with ability to dig into the details as well as see the big picture
OTHER PERTINENT INFORMATION
Candidate must be willing to work in Laguna
Candidate must be willing to work night shift, on holidays and render overtime as business requires
